Twirl Around the World!

Without abandoning my original intent for this blog of walking & fitness, I want to expand it to include my WALK with the Lord and our Spiritual Health!

I want to fulfill the purpose God has for me, bring Him glory, and bless as many others I can along my journey!

Praying you will receive a blessing for journeying with me along this path!

Changes...More Than Just a Season

Spring 2011 is revealing itself to be more than a normal change of season for us. This year my husband, Billy, will FINALLY retire from State of MS service and working at Delta State University! He has logged 27 years of employment with the State since he began in the Auditor's Office. That does NOT mean he will cease working--he has been offered a position to simply TEACH accounting at Mississippi College (MC) in Clinton, Mississippi, which he has accepted to begin this Fall.

Consequently, we anticipate moving BACK down to the Jackson area sometime later this year, yet hopefully BEFORE school starts back in the Fall! This week, I am "cat-sitting" some friends' felines while the enjoy the Spring Break with their kids in Florida. My "job" this week (other than SEVERAL seminary classes' assignments) is to begin looking for a house--the home God has already selected for us. I want to be sensitive to HIS leading and revelation of which house He wants us to move into. So, I will begin viewing homes in the area with a Realtor-friend of mine we knew when we lived here before moving to Cleveland.

I'm a bit tired from lack of sleep--to help assure Billy made his VERY early flight for another short trip for meetings. I am listening to Back and am only interrupted by the tick of the large wall clock and the occasional growl and hiss from my Barney and the two cats for whom I am "sitting"--Hensely and Oliver...two tiny precious long-furred and gorgeous felines! Since I do not have an agenda for today, I may try to catch up on some of my sleep, buy a few groceries at the local Dollar General (one of my favorite stores), and drive by some nearby homes for sale in the area.

I miss writing here in my blog, but there are no excuses--if I really want to, I will make the time to do so! Yet, sometimes I simply have virtually anything about which to write. Thus, I see no point in boring myself and especially YOU, my readers! :)

As I posted on facebook and twitter today, "I am having Bach and the Bible for breakfast!"

Bon A'Petit!
