Woke up at 6:00 AM and shot out of bed! Walked yesterday for about 40 minutes--divided up by about an hour sitting in Billy's main office on 3rd floor Broom. I had delivered his coffee cream from our fridge to him just in time for his 10:00 AM meeting. However, I waited almost too late to return home, because of the heat! I nearly had an "episode" about three blocks from home--even though I extra-hydrated AND toted a small water bottle with me!
Cannot let that happen again! Or, I'll be falling out from heat exhaustion! That is why I shot out of bed this morning! Gotta hydrate AND get a good breakfast!
Logging my food intake has been recommended by several folks. They seem to think that I do NOT know how much I take in daily! Well, okay! So, I found a template in Microsoft Works that records such, and I will now proceed to record EVERYTHING I consume! Even has a place for water--which is NO issue for me! I get my eight (glasses) daily! Also found another template I adapted to record my exercise activity. If anyone is interested in either of these, let me know and I can email them to you--if you give me your email address. There is probably a way to post it here, but I am NOT that proficient at blogging yet to do so! Perhaps my Blog-Pro-Friend, Jennifer, could advise me in that! :-)

Could not believe when I read the above quote by Charles Swindoll on another friend's facebook status this morning! It sounds SO similar to MY story about TURTLES--after which I named this blog! Goes to prove that GOD is the SOURCE of our inspirations! I'm STILL in awe!!
Need to finish my soggy cereal, finish hydrating, and get to walking before the heat increases to much! Will check in again when I return!
